I was looking for a cleansing cream... Well the truth is I
was itching to buy stuff. Hahaha! I wanted to try a cleansing cream as I am
fickle like that. Want to try this and that all the time. I was alternating
between The Face Shop's Herb Day Cleansing Cream or Etude House's as the price
is almost the same. In the end I went for this because 1)it is 30ml more 2)It
is a squeeze tube not tub 3)It has a lot of plant extracts/oils (12 of them to
be exact)
It arrived in the mail after 2 weeks and iI simply love the
packaging. Simple and cute! It's also a plus when there's English description,
directions and also ingredients list print on the tube! Very helpful.
The tube is sealed with a foil so it's always fresh when you
open it~ And it smells really good! Something between floral and perfume?
The cream is white and it is quite solid but glides very
well on my skin. It isn't the best makeup remover out there, so you can look
elsewhere if you are aiming for a high performance remover.
cleansing test time! |
after: see that lip tint? it's still there! |
I tested it on my
hand with swatches of bb cushion, lip tint and a cream pact base makeup and it doesn't
remove the tint. 50% of it is still there. I feel that this is better as a massage cream,
but no harm if you only use it to remove light makeup. I always double cleanse
afterwards so it doesn't bother me that much.
This cleansing cream is very moist! The instructions said to
wash off with warm water or use cotton pads to wife it off. But there is still
a thin "creamy" feel so I guess double cleansing is the way to go
afterwards. Even after that my skin feels so moisturised! Da yum.
Packaging: 5/5 Hygienic squeeze tube
Cleansing power : 2.5/5 Not for heavy makeup.
Price: 4.5/5 Cheap and good
Smell:4/5 Very nice smelling. Hmm~~
Overall: 4/5 nice smelling massage cream. Very moisturising.
I recommend this for people who has little to no makeup on/doesn't mind strong
smelling products/very dry to normal skin
