Review: Olay Regenerist Advanced Cleansing System

Price: RM99 in pharmacies

Sis bought this for home use. And a few brush heads so that we can use it by swapping brush heads.

The brush is powered by 1 AA battery, which was included in the box. The bristles did not seem very soft and I feel that I could brush my toilet surface with it (just kidding). Inside the box there's also a 20ml Skin Renewal Cleanser to be used together with the device.

It has 2 speeds, which I did not realise until I've started using it for a week! I had it on the High speed O.O

Removing and putting on the brush head is super easy. Just grab the brush head and pull out; and just push in until you hear a clicking sound.

How to use this? Wet your face and the brush head, lather your cleanser and spread onto your face so that it provides some cushion between your skin and the bristles. Turn on the device on low and gently work them across your face. Don't linger for long; I am done with my whole face within 30-40 seconds max. You can also wet the bristles repeatedly during the wash so that it wont be too harsh on your skin.

This cleansing brush is good for rougher skin. I do think that it may irritate super sensitive skin. For other skin types, it should be good for use. The mechanism works like physical exfoliation to reduce surface accumulation of dead skin cells and other gunk.

I have comedone prone skin, so I try my best to alternate cleansing methods to thoroughly cleanse my face, I find it especially easy to remove blackheads etc after using this.

Design: 4/5 It fits right in my hand and with an easily replaced brush head

Cleansing power: 4/5

Overall: 4/5 Value for money price point. It's 10x cheaper than Clarisonic's Mia 2.
