Review: SAVEE 3D Paper Mask Series - Bird Nest

Price: RM 1 per piece during roadshow
Weight: 40 g
Description: Savee 3D Paper Mask with Bird's Nest helps to improve skin elasticity to eradicate fine lines, leaving your skin looking young and smooth
Manufactured in : Singapore

I have never heard of Savee before, and I did some research online about this company, which is based in Singapore. However, I was shocked to see a blogger posted bad reviews about its products... which made me wary to try the masks myself. >.<

Anyway, I decided to give it a go since I have used a lot of new stuff without my skin breaking out. *tough mode on* This is the first time I tried on 3D masks, and frankly speaking, I do not like its cutting. I tried to relax with the whole mask plastered and clung to my face but I find it too suffocating. My ears hurt from the tugging of the ear hook!

 The ingredients list.

The lament about the mask aside, Savee is very generous with the amount of essence they put into each bag. I still cannot finish the essence after 4 days! Haha

Once opened, I was questioning whether they had the packaging right or was I imagining things? It smelt like tea tree oil! The unmistakable sharp scent of tea tree oil - never would I forget! That aside, the mask functions pretty good to moisturise my skin.

The essence is not sticky and pretty runny, something that I like! I left it on (with the ear hook and all) for about 15 minutes and removed the hooks. Damn that needed to go!

This is after 4th day of using the leftover essence, still a lot left!

I left it on the whole night (I always do!) and was pretty surprised by its effect. I did not have any breakouts (phew!) and my skin were more moisturised and clearer. However, the effect is not very long lasting, just like how other sheet masks in the market are.

The good: Cheap (RM1 during roadshows), abundant essence (you can slather the leftover on your legs and hands :), moisturising

The bad: THE EAR HOOKS (Those needed to go! I prefer if they use the plain o' mask cutting hurmph)

    1. Haha, you are welcome. There are several variants of the mask where it was printed on the packaging that the mask may cause tingling sensation due to some ingredients and it is supposed to be perfectly normal. Overall i do think that the masks are value for money items~ my personal fav would def be the birds nest one!

    2. I've tried the masks too and it was fine for me. I've tried it before I read the bad review from another blogger about the burns and stuff. Surprisingly, it works just fine for me. Maybe it is only suitable for certain people with certain skin condition? BUt anyway, best of luck to you.

And to the blogger who wrote this review, thank you. At least I know I'm not the only one who used a product and survived. Lol!
