Review : Etude House Peel Off Base Coat

Price: 2000 won
I first saw this on Qoo10 which made me go 'OMG I want this!' and asked my sister to get this for me from Korea.

So what's so special about this base coat? It claims to require no nail polish remover to remove, you can just peel off the entire coat of blings and whatnot off your fingernail! Sounds interesting, aye? Imagine the time and frustrations you can save without having to rub and rub the hard to remove blings on your nail.
The bottle has a bib with the instructions on how to use it. pretty cute and handy.

My first impression:
The base coat is thicker than most base coats. It looks slimish, and the colour is like rice water. The base coat needs longer time to dry compared to OPI's base coat.
The nail polish afterwards glides on smoothly without glitch, that's very nice. I would've thought there would be bumps here and there.
After a few days: There seem to be air bubbles underneath the colour! I tried peeling it off, and it did come off nicely, just a few accidental tears on the side. Looks like nail stickers!
The shortcoming: IT IS NOT WATERPROOF. That's why it works like glue, which enables anything on top to come off in whole. Also, wear time is reduced to 3-4 days before the bubbles appear (if you do a lot of housechores involving water).

A tip for those who wants it to last longer: Apply a thinner coat and make sure it is fully covered by your nailcolour, it lasted me a good 1 month! (w/o frequent house cleaning lol) After that I just scrapped it off, haha!
The good: cheap if you can buy in Korea, fun, nice if you don't like using removers

The bad: staying time is short
