Review: Nature Republic the First Mask Sheet

This is the second mask I bought to try from Nature Republic (the previous one being the Snail Therapy ExperienceMask).

THE FIRST is Nature Republic's skincare line using fermented yeast which follows the trend of Missha's The First, Secret Key's STE, SKII's FTE and many more. Recently I found myself gravitating to fermented skincare products, and I have bought some different brands to try namely Purebess 100% Galactomyces Essence and I'm super interested to buy SU:M 37 Secret Programming Essence because of the good results it gave me.

The packaging is so nicely designed that it gives me the luxurious and minimalist feel. The essence is sticky white goo, which reminds me of the white PVA glue. The essence wasn't thick like its appearance and the paper mask is super soft with wavy rippled texture. Feels like soft cotton to me!

The mask's cutting is super nice and fits perfectly onto my face. I don't have to fold it up or feel uncomfortable around my nose.

The mask doesn't have a strong smell, just a faint floral smell. After using this mask, my skin felt smoother and very supple. It is not very sticky too, just nice. Whitening, not really. It does brighten my skin by a bit I think.

Leg test: I have this habit of putting the mask on my leg after I have done using it on my face. While I don't really feel that the mask whitens my face, this is what it did on my leg:

OMG. I am 2 shades whiter! See the holes for the eyes and the mouth That patch of skin is darker. I am totally convinced that this has intense whitening capabilities.
