Review: My Current Lipcolors

I have a thing for lip products, especially if they look like a lip crayon/chubby stick.

There's like 4 different lip products in my bag omg!

daily usage makes it flat hohoho

First one, the Silkygirl Moisture Boost Lipcolor Balm in Poppy. I got this along with Wine maybe earlier this year?Silkygirl is a home grown brand with decent products. I am so loving this colour because it makes my complexion looks brighter haha.

The good thing about lip crayons is that I can get away applying it on my lips without looking at a mirror. Major win :)

For this Silkygirl balm the staying power is low to medium and it gets a bit gritty after a few hours. I just wipe off and reapply or layer it on.

One layer and the coverage is  quite decent. For an opaque finish i'd suggest 2 to 3 layers.

I have a second lip crayon which is the Revlon Color Stay Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain
 in Lovesick. This is the exact same colour i have of another lip tint. Haha anyway i got this because it was cheap like rm 6 ish. It has a minty peppermint scent and glides on smoothly. Leaves a stain on my lips after wiping and holds better than the Silkygirl one. Normal price is RM 10 more than Silkygirl's though.

Third one is a Gel Tint from In2it. Got this because it has a bundle offer together with a clear lip balm.

It is gel so it is thicker than water tints. I use it to make gradient lips or to add color to my lips #darklipsproblems. Staying power is superb if I don't eat or drink while wearing this. 80% of this tint will come off after a meal. Great as a blusher too... you just have to be very fast!

The last one is the one i reached for least, the Holika Holika Gradiation Neon Lips which has a water tint on one side and a clear gloss on the other. It doesn't stain much and that is the reason why I neglect it a lot.

If you  have naturally light coloured lips, this should be able to give colour to your lips like it should. It has weak staining power and i reckon staying power is 2 to 3 hours before you need to reapply.

Now the swatches! I've applied 3 layers of each product on my hand and the colours do look very bright!

I put my hand over running tap water and smudged my finger across. The Holika Holika tint wore off a lot, which is normal considering that it is a water tint.

And then I upped the game by washing my hand with a soap bar. The strongest staying power definitely goes from In2it →Revlon→Silkygirl→Holika Holika being the weakest. In fact Holika Holika disappeared without a trace omg!

What next? I'll defo get the Matte Fever Lipcolor Balm from Silkygirl. There's a shade called Passion which is a bright neon fuschia pink which looks so nice~
