Volume: 1ml (sample)
I wanted to try Etude House's Cotton Fit
BB because it has a matte finish and Etude House's Precious Minerals BB cream
sells like hot cakes on Qoo10. I like the dewy finish of bb creams, but
sometimes when it is hot and humid and your face gets oily to the point that
the dewiness becomes uncomfortable, I'd been wanting something that is not dewy
nor matte (something in between), doesn't accentuate fine lines, and doesn't
clog pores.
I have a sample sachet of this one and the
Bright Fit one so today I went ahead and tested the cotton fit one.
Please bear in mind that I have dry skin,
so this is review might not be accurate for oily skin guys/gals.
The colour looks a bit orange in real life |
I drew two stars- the left one for one coat, the right one for 2 coats |
Pretty good concealing powers |
Right after blending. Close up |
After 10 minutes |
Colour: 3.8/5 The colour looks really
orange to me because other bb creams I have used either have pink undertones or
neutral colours. After blending and settling it looks pretty natural and
matches my skin tone.
Smell: 3/5 Slight floral smell.
Blending: 2.5/5 Consistency is quite thick
so it is pretty hard to spread on my dry skin. I would say it needs a sponge or
brush to nicely paint it on your face.
Finish: 3.5/5 Matte, sinks into fine lines
around my eyes.
Coverage: 4/5 Pretty good for those with fewer blemishes
Staying power: 4.5/5 Good. Went to the
beach in the morning and still pretty much intact after 9 hours.
Oil control: 3.8/5 I think it is okay-
good. Not much oil except on my nose and cheeks
