Upcoming Haul Post!!!

Cough. I just bought some stuff over the past week so I thought I'd share some tidbits.

Clothing:

3 pieces of cheongsam. These are for my graduation. I bought a long one, a knee-length one, and the last one is a cheongsam top. Finally shipped out from China after 7 days. =.= I just hope it can arrive in time!

Makeup:

I bought my sistah Espoir's Nude Face Slip Cushion in Ivory Pure (C21) Heheheh. Another cushion for me to try out next. Will be posting a mini review ;P

I also bought 3x rubycell puffs in case my Holika Holika Cushion BB's puff died on me. I never knew there were 2 types of rubycell puffs. There's a slimmer, stiffer one and a thicker, softer one. No wonder the beauty shop's rubycell puffs seem stiff and odd to me. My Holika Holika's puff is very soft and malleable. (cough i didn't twist or wring it okay)

I nearly bought myself another lip tint but it was too expensive (about RM20 so I didn't)

Skincare:

I bought a tub of Freeset hydrogel eye masks cuz my fine lines are getting out of hand *cough. Initially I bought Petitfee's but the aunty in me decided to cancel Petitfee and buy Freeset instead cuz it had 2x the no of masks compared to Petitfee.

And the last one...JENG JENG JENG!!

SUM 37 ROSE CLEANSING STICK!!! Without the case. A refill/sample. Nope it wasn't very expensive. It was USD 5 only... Heheheh. Can't wait to try it. Previously the cheapest one I could find is about RM65 or USD20. USD 5 is a huge bargain! I've been eyeing this since last year but couldn't convince myself to buy it because I have a lot of cleansers lining up to be finished!

The total damage? Urmmm around MYR 200 for cosmetics and another MYR 110 for my beautiful cheongsams. Being the aunty that I am, I like to hunt for good bargains so I think I will not buy anything for a good few months.

Event: Zalora X River Island Write Your Way to Style Dinner @ Ciao Ristorante, KL

So you guys probably remembered this post which was my attempt at the contest, hahaha! Two weeks ago I was invited to join Zalora x River Island's winner announcement dinner at Ciao Ristorante in KL. Ciao Ristorante is a quaint Italian Restaurant on Jalan Kg Pandan, and features beautiful al fresco dining and also private rooms in addition to the in house seating. Next time if you're looking for wedding venues do give them a try.

It was crazy jam as usual and almost raining. Upon arriving I was greeted by Stacy, Zalora's PR Executive. There's a table at the front showcasing some of River Island's fashionable accessories and bags. Every guest had a go at mix-matching the items and posing in front of Zalora's 2 camera crew. Hohoho. I ain't showing my face here, but here you go!

On myself is River Island's Gold Metallic Suede Cross Body Bag, suit or not? puihhh I know I know, should have taken the backpack instead.

When everyone arrived, the waiting staff started serving dinner. I was starving.

It's such a pity I can't finish all the food because I felt nauseous halfway through. Sigh. But I did finish the creme brulee, which was awesome.

Now on to the winners! Congratulations to all of them!

Phew! What a night!
