Wishlist - Cream and Cushion

A lot of Malaysian girls do not really put on makeup. Yes, I am one of them too. I'm very slow on the cosmetics trend, and I don't like putting on a lot of makeup. I've only started using BB creams this year.  (yes this year)

So, the no-makeup makeup is THE trend at the moment and man, Korean cosmetics always have something new to offer. This year saw the rise of CC creams, after the BB cream hype died down. I've only used Whoo's CC cream but ended up not liking it, because I don't like tugging at my skin to make the colour capsules burst.

On the other hand I really like BB creams as it is easy to use and requires less effort to apply, if it doesn't make me oil.

Recently I've been eyeing cushion or balm pacts. Yes, I know, they are not new.

For those who are unfamiliar, cushion pacts are essentially a sponge soaked with BB, CC, foundation, or sunblock liquid in a pact form. Usually they carry about 10- 15 ml of product in 1 pact.

I know the cushion trend happened in 2012 but this year saw a lot of Korean brands releasing their own cushion (bb, cc, foundation, sun etc) and reviews said it makes applying a breeze. And it seems like it's purely a Korean thing because I don't see the Western brands put out products like this at the moment. But it sure involves a lot of thought to make the cushion work, from the soaked up sponge to the thickness of the pact.

The next thing, balm pacts. They don't have a standard name to it, but I'm pretty sure it's cream foundation in the West. It's obviously not invented by the Koreans. I just happened to come across Innisfree's Mineral Melting Foundation, and was intrigued by it. Yes, I'm such a noob. Now that they added a volumizing formula to the pact it becomes a swirly mix of creamy foundation and volumer, the pact looks like a candy.

I figured these base makeup in pact must suit those who are in a hurry to work, cuz you can put on makeup after you leave the house. In the car, or subway even.

Buuuut, these products cost a lot to own so it will be a long time until you girls see reviews on these kinda stuff on my blog. Haha.

so it;s like this. i wan tosearch for a spot whitening serum. and then i googled.

omg. so many choices. i personally think korean brands have a reputation in whitening products, but there are also over-the -counter products that have good reviews. omgggg. i think i need to head over to bukit bintang to shop edy.

happy day

today i had a girl time with my sis at the gardens and mid valley! so funtastic. we went to collect our prizes in the gardens. the security was strict-you have to give your ic no and also snap a picture before you can go in. and they use cards to access the building. fuhhh. the architecture is nice outside but on the inside it's meh. on the office floors i can predict the rundown-ness after a few years if not maintained properly. the msn malaysia's office was bare, paper free and very very quiet. ms sheena, very very pretty! she gave us our stuff and then we left to isetan.

we had ms crystal(very attentive and friendly) to attend us. she showed us various clarins products and we had the privilege to be pampered (on our hands, haha) with those products. after one hour of demonstration and what not, we left with a new determination- to save enough money to buy eye cream for me and lotus oil for my sis. *purse burst*

then we left to biotherm to collect our sample. it was hmm... no demonstration at all, just given 2 sample products to try. Afterwards we walked to midvalley. midvalley is definitely more my class. hahaha~~~ and i went to collect my clinique sample. weehoo. the beauty consultant was also friendly, alas i forgot her name.. huhu. she demonstrated the product on my skin. and now if i compare, clinique is quite drying compared to clarins? hmm. yet to be confirmed!

since my sis already missed her tutorial, we went shopping for a while before rushing back for my class. we had a mini haul in sasa! i bought some masks~ again. i hauled some masks too on saturday... guilty* then i bought nanowhite's dna protector in guardian! it's on sale...15% disc kut.. how can i not buy since i am confident in nanowhite??

later i will post my review on the various products im using right now. i still have assignments n reports sigh...

okay. i will confess. i want a hadanomy! and i promise to myself i will get my hands on it when i finally finish using hada labo ( which i think is not going to finish in another 2 months) oh, me and my obsession with japanese skincare.

i''ve tried on hadanomy before at stardust. it's watery, cooling (or maybe it's the aircond, i can't b sure) and it whitens the skin. the SA put in on my hand and it's easy to rub it. not greasy at all. the back of my palm has 2 tones, but of course now it doesn't. just for a few minutes after application i guess.
