time flies! Now we looking at 2015 already. This year I graduated, found my first firm job, left the job and continued my postgraduate studies.

now im doing my submission drawings fml.

and next year january i'll be heading to bangkok for a solo trip. still contemplating to go huahin or chiangmai :)

I bought a Mizon Vichum cream beacuse it was on sale! It should arrive in a few days yasssssss my christmas pressie!!

although I've been eyeing Koreadepart's sale items for about a week now hehehehe. But I just didnt have that money to splurge yet :'(

Random: How Internet Shopping Has Changed My Life

I tell you it's crazy! I've been ordering from Taobao ever since I restarted my studies here in the Uni. For many times its my friends asking me to help buy them stuff hahaha! Still its a growing addiction! I keep browsing new clothes and adding them to cart :D

Normally I use Visa to buy and a shipping agent to help me ship my clothes. They charge a 3% Visa fee and I dunno which exchange rate they use (ie Maybank forex or international forex rate) but the exchange rate incl of visa fees is around 1.79 (CNY to MYR). I saw some agent is offering 1.85 to help you buy & ship which is a pretty darn good rate but I can't confirm whether he is legit or not yet. Too many conman out there nowadays. Haven't tried buying "sensitive" goods or bulky goods yet but I have the feeling that shipping and handling will be so much more expensive hmm.

Anyway, I've just recently started to browse online Korean Cosme Shops like Honestskin, Sweet Corea, Innisfree Official and Etude House Official and they tempt me to buying EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Sigh. I swore off cushion BBs for now because I haven't finished my Holika Holika Photo Ready Cushion BB and my NARUKO Taiwan Magnolia Firming Smooth Finish Cream Makeup yet and I still have some relatively unused bb creams at home. MUST RESIST.

I still buy from local pharmacies though.

Rant: I don't like shopping in physical stores!

Malaysia has a lot of Korean beauty brands coming in these few years, and I used to shop there sometimes but totally stopped since I started shopping online.

Recently I started visiting them again to test out BB Balms or Cushions but I have to say some SAs just piss me off.

Let me tell you an incident that happened in One Utama yesterday. I visited this Korean brand shop near the cinema (no names but you can guess it) and I popped into their store to check out their products. The SA said to me "even if you are just looking around, I still need to follow you because there's a CCTV installed"

I told her then "You can just follow me if you like, but I don't need any product explanation."

I was just about to leave when she gave me the evil eye. You know, the eye that says "I'm looking down on you!" I countered her with my own evil eye of course ;P I don't need shitty customer service on weekends!

Seriously, I think the SAs need to know their boundaries. I am not easily angered or annoyed, but certain SAs just need to learn their manners.

A "NO" is a "NO" and I do not owe you anything. Although I prefer using Korean brands for skincare, but be sure that I WILL NOT step into your store anymore! 

Wishlist - Cream and Cushion

A lot of Malaysian girls do not really put on makeup. Yes, I am one of them too. I'm very slow on the cosmetics trend, and I don't like putting on a lot of makeup. I've only started using BB creams this year.  (yes this year)

So, the no-makeup makeup is THE trend at the moment and man, Korean cosmetics always have something new to offer. This year saw the rise of CC creams, after the BB cream hype died down. I've only used Whoo's CC cream but ended up not liking it, because I don't like tugging at my skin to make the colour capsules burst.

On the other hand I really like BB creams as it is easy to use and requires less effort to apply, if it doesn't make me oil.

Recently I've been eyeing cushion or balm pacts. Yes, I know, they are not new.

For those who are unfamiliar, cushion pacts are essentially a sponge soaked with BB, CC, foundation, or sunblock liquid in a pact form. Usually they carry about 10- 15 ml of product in 1 pact.

Amore Pacific's brands are all releasing their cushion products in 2012/2013

I know the cushion trend happened in 2012 but this year saw a lot of Korean brands releasing their own cushion (bb, cc, foundation, sun etc) and reviews said it makes applying a breeze. And it seems like it's purely a Korean thing because I don't see the Western brands put out products like this at the moment. But it sure involves a lot of thought to make the cushion work, from the soaked up sponge to the thickness of the pact.

The next thing, balm pacts. They don't have a standard name to it, but I'm pretty sure it's cream foundation in the West. It's obviously not invented by the Koreans. I just happened to come across Innisfree's Mineral Melting Foundation, and was intrigued by it. Yes, I'm such a noob. Now that they added a volumizing formula to the pact it becomes a swirly mix of creamy foundation and volumer, the pact looks like a candy.

I figured these base makeup in pact must suit those who are in a hurry to work, cuz you can put on makeup after you leave the house. In the car, or subway even.

Buuuut, these products cost a lot to own so it will be a long time until you girls see reviews on these kinda stuff on my blog. Haha.
